Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized respiratory care and support to neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients within designated units.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient responses to treatment and adjust therapies accordingly.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments and treatments in compliance with hospital policies.
• Ensure all respiratory therapy equipment and supplies are properly maintained and calibrated.
• Float between NICU, PICU, and Peds units as needed, providing consistent respiratory care across specialties.

Required Qualifications

• Active Indiana State Respiratory Therapist license.
• ACLS, BLS, NBRC RRT credential, and NRP certification (required for certain units, obtainable if not already held).
• Minimum of 2 years experience in PICU or Children's Hospital setting, with recent experience within the last 3 years.
• NICU or PICU experience is mandatory.
• Prior experience working in a children's hospital setting.
• Must have recent experience in Level 1 adult or pediatric facilities.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PALS certification is preferred.
• Experience working in an accredited CoARC and CHEA regionally accredited facility.
• Flexibility to float among NICU, PICU, and Peds units based on hospital needs.
