• Respiratory Therapist - Therapist
Location
• Indianapolis, IN
Schedule / Job Type
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
• Provide respiratory therapy services to neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients in a hospital setting
• Manage ventilators and other respiratory equipment, including Servo I, Servo U, and Hamilton G5 systems
• Float across NICU, PICU, and Pediatric units as needed, adapting to patient requirements
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and therapy progress
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
• Indiana State Respiratory Therapist license (must be in hand prior to start)
• Minimum of 18 months recent experience in NICU or PICU settings
• Ablility to manage vents and critical respiratory equipment
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist), NRP (preferred for those in L&D; can be obtained after offer)
• Educational credentials accredited by CoARC and regionally by CHEA
• Current PALS certification (preferred)
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with trauma patients in pediatric hospital settings
• Prior experience with floating across multiple ICU and pediatric units
• Ability to work flexible night shifts, including EOW scheduling
