Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care in a busy medical-surgical/telemetry setting.
- Monitor patient conditions and manage acute and post-operative care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and assist with procedural activities.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety procedures, and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- SC RN license or Compact license must be active prior to start.
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification required; NIH certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a community hospital setting.
- Telemetry competency and previous charge nurse experience preferred.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a Level III Trauma hospital.
- Familiarity with Epic charting system.
- Ability to float within scope between units or facilities.
