Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Night shifts (3x12 hours)

Key Responsibilities
• Provide patient care in a 25-bed Medical Surgical unit, including urology and nephrology cases.
• Work collaboratively within a team, float to other Medical Surgical units as needed within scope.
• Monitor cardiac status via telemetry and respond to emergency situations promptly.
• Manage pre/post-hemodialysis and renal failure cases with specialized skills.
• Administer IV therapies, blood products, and manage central and peripheral lines.
• Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and comply with hospital protocols on infection control and wound care.

Required Qualifications
• Active Illinois RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as a registered nurse in Medical Surgical or Telemetry.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be required based on the unit.
• Experience with cardiac monitoring, emergency response, and renal cases preferred.
• Ability to work 3x12 night shifts and participate in every other weekend rotation.
• Must be able to work holidays as scheduled.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with dialysis, chest tube management, and respiratory support devices (CPAP, BiPAP, HFNC).
• Knowledge of Cerner EMR platform.
• Strong understanding of infection control, wound care, and emergency protocols.
