• Full-time, night shifts
Key Responsibilities
• Perform and interpret tests and procedures to assess and manage patient care in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members.
• Work autonomously in various clinical settings, including administration of respiratory care protocols.
• Manage artificial airways, mechanical ventilation, and administer aerosolized medications.
• Provide oxygen therapy and support in NICU, including Level 2 and 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Units and Special Care Nurseries, with a focus on delivery room experience preferred.
• Participate in rotating shifts, covering approximately 36 hours per week with a schedule of every third weekend and rotation every three weeks.
Required Qualifications
• High School diploma or GED.
• Current CPR (AHA) and NRP certifications required.
• Valid RRT credential with 2+ years of related work experience.
• Ability to manage artificial airways, mechanical ventilation, and deliver aerosolized medications.
• Must be able to reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local travelers will not be accepted.
• Immediate start preferred; current employees who worked within the last six months are ineligible.
• Must be available for weekly orientation sessions.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• NICU experience, especially in Level 2 and 3 units or birthing hospital NICUs.
• Delivery room experience highly preferred.
