Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
• Rotating shifts, 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities
• Perform and document evaluations and patient assessments in the NICU setting.
• Provide diagnostic, therapeutic treatment, and physician assistance for neonatal patients.
• Educate and support patients' families, ensuring they understand treatment plans.
• Identify significant changes in patient condition and communicate appropriately to care teams.
• Complete all documentation including EMR entries, medication charting, and safety reports.
• Disassemble, clean, and perform preventative maintenance on respiratory equipment, ensuring safety and functionality.
• Transport neonatal patients to and from referral health systems while maintaining high-quality critical care standards.
• Assist with additional duties as assigned to meet departmental needs.

Required Qualifications
• Respiratory Therapist certification from the North Dakota State Board of Respiratory Care.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• PALS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from RQI Partners.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a NICU or relevant neonatal respiratory therapy setting.
• Recent travel experience with at least 3 completed assignments.
• Ability to obtain or hold a registry with the National Board for Respiratory Care within 12 months if a new graduate.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in Level 2 Trauma Centers.
• Strong documentation and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
