Key Responsibilities

• Provide wound and ostomy care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state regulations and hospital policies.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe delivery of patient care.
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and delegated patient care responsibilities.
• Supervise and direct assigned personnel delivering patient care, prioritizing patient needs based on staff experience and education.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective wound care plans.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Wound Care RN in a hospital setting.
• Current California RN license (attached to resume).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (attached).
• WOCN certification (attached).
• Ability to work Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with weekend coverage as needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Leadership or supervisory experience in wound care.
