Job Title
• Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown
Location
• Asheville, NC
Schedule / Job Type
• Travel, 13-week assignment, night shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
Key Responsibilities
• Provide care to patients in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit at a reputable hospital.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including neurological cases.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
• Document patient progress and interventions accurately in the EMR system.
• Adhere to unit policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Required Qualifications
• Valid RN license.
• ACLS certification.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIH) certification preferred.
• Experience with neuro-related procedures such as Foley insertion and IV starts.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Neuro or stroke unit experience.
• Outgoing and self-motivated personality.
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR system.
