Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to oncology patients in a hospital setting.
• Administer chemotherapy and other treatments per physician orders.
• Monitor patient status and respond to emergencies during night shifts.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records using Cerner EMR.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Follow hospital policies and safety protocols, including PPE and handling of hazardous materials.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in North Carolina or ability to obtain licensure.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience, ideally in oncology or medical-surgical units.
• Ability to work night shift hours (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Certification in Chemo Administration.
• Experience with oncology procedures such as pelvic exams, echocardiograms, or thoracentesis.
• Strong team player with a willingness to learn and adapt.
