Key Responsibilities
- Deliver patient care in a 5:1 patient-to-staff ratio, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective care delivery and achievement of patient outcomes.
- Interact professionally with patients and their families, maintaining high standards of nursing care.
- Provide care for pediatric and adult patients before and after surgical procedures, as well as with a broad range of medical conditions.
- Assess and implement established policies and procedures with minimal supervision.
- Act as a clinical leader, precepting staff and supporting team development.
- Manage patient care from admission through discharge, including discharge planning, in both hospital and ambulatory settings.
- Supervise and give direction to LPNs, CNAs, housekeeping, and dietary staff.
- Receive clinical direction from providers, charge nurses, and nursing leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Montana.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare team.
- Experience in medical-surgical nursing preferred.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in a hospital or ambulatory surgical setting.
- Ability to handle multiple patient needs with professionalism and efficiency.
