• Days, Full-time, 8 hours per shift, 5 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Evaluate, plan, and administer treatment to residents and patients to relieve pain, improve function, and promote healing.
• Document treatments, progress, and responses in medical records following company policies and regulations.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment protocols and exercises.
• Monitor patient responses to interventions and adjust care plans as needed.
• Ensure all treatments are delivered in accordance with the established plan of care and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Certification from the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) for PTAs.
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions from a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Empathy, patience, and physical stamina to support patient movement and exercises.
• 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing facility (may be required by the state).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a skilled nursing or senior care environment.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to physical therapy.
