• CNA - LTC/SNF
Location
• Canistota, SD
Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Mids shifts, 7.5 hours per shift, 6 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
• Support residents with personal hygiene and daily living needs, including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and undressing
• Monitor and record vital signs and observe resident behaviors in accordance with policies and regulations
• Assist residents with transfers, repositioning, and walking using proper techniques and equipment
• Provide psychosocial support and respond to resident needs compassionately
• Help residents with meals, snacks, water, and supplements, ensuring a positive dining experience
• Handle linen, soiled clothing, and supplies following proper hygiene and safety procedures
Required Qualifications
• Completion of an accredited nursing assistant training program approved by the state
• Valid certification/license as a Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 40 lbs, and operate necessary medical equipment
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities
• Familiarity with electronic medical record documentation
• Knowledge of proper transfer and repositioning techniques
