Key Responsibilities

• Provide high acuity critical care nursing in ICU for neuro or cardiac patients
• Monitor and manage complex patient needs, including stroke care, advanced heart failure, and post-surgical recovery
• Administer and oversee treatments such as EVDS, NI patients, CRRT, balloon pumps, and Swan-Ganz catheters
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Document patient progress and maintain detailed records according to hospital protocols
• Ensure compliance with all safety and clinical standards

Required Qualifications

• Active IL RN license
• Minimum of 3 years of critical care experience in ICU settings
• Certifications: ACLS, NIHSS, BLS
• Experience with high acuity neuro or cardiac ICU patients, including stroke, EVDSs, and related procedures
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, including weekend rotations

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Stroke certification or experience in stroke care
• Experience with advanced cardiac procedures and devices such as balloon pumps and swans
• Familiarity with surgical recovery protocols and complex critical care interventions
