Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care to medical/surgical patients, including pre- and post-surgery care.
• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Prepare, administer, and record medications (oral, subcutaneous, IV) in accordance with hospital policies.
• Educate patients and significant others on surgical procedures, post-treatment home care, and illness/injury management.
• Monitor and operate specialized equipment, interpret electronic displays, and take corrective actions if adverse symptoms arise.
• Assist physicians during examinations and treatments, change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.

Required Qualifications

• Active Wyoming RN license or multi-state RN license.
• Valid ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of 2 years recent Med/Surg RN experience in a hospital setting.
• Ability to float between Lander and Riverton campuses if needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for pediatric/adolescent patients occasionally.
• Strong time management skills and ability to respond to life-saving situations following nursing standards.
