Key Responsibilities

• Provide holistic, individualized nursing care to patients on the OB unit, following the nursing process.
• Demonstrate clinical competency, nursing judgment, and teaching skills to ensure quality patient care.
• Independently perform general and unit-specific clinical skills relevant to obstetrics and gynecology.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care under the supervision of the charge nurse.
• Adhere to hospital standards, policies, and procedures regarding patient confidentiality, safety, and professional conduct.
• Support teamwork with physicians and hospital personnel to promote optimal patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of acute care experience as an RN.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Certificate (NRP) required.
• Must be vaccinated for COVID-19 per state mandate.
• Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
• Proficiency in computer skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in obstetrics or gynecology nursing.
• Knowledge of neonatal care and STABLE protocol.
