Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality nursing care by assessing, planning, and implementing care plans in accordance with state standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient recovery and wellness.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of medical records.
• Offer psychological, emotional, and spiritual support to patients and their families.
• Lead and mentor nursing staff, ensuring compliance with safety and care standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in Illinois or Michigan.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association prior to start date.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Prior experience as an RN in a rehabilitation care setting.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records and basic Microsoft Office skills.
