Job Title

• Respiratory Therapist (Travel)

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, 13-week assignment, Night shifts, 12.5 hours per shift, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to neonatal and pediatric patients in a Level 3 NICU setting.
• Manage ventilators, including Drager VN500 ventilators and oscillators, as well as nitric oxide therapy.
• Administer high-risk deliveries and perform procedures such as surfactant administration and blood gas analysis.
• Monitor patient conditions and interpret data to optimize respiratory therapy.
• Work independently while maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license or certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience, preferably with Level 3 NICU.
• Proven experience with ventilator management and high-risk neonatal procedures.
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
• Ability to work independently and maintain a positive attitude.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• STABLE certification is highly desirable.
• Experience with high-frequency oscillatory ventilation and nitric oxide administration.
• Familiarity with Meditech and NeoNotes EMR systems.
• Strong critical thinking and attention to detail.
