Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care within the CVOR, including open heart procedures.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and adhere to hospital protocols.
- Be flexible to work various shifts, including mid-shifts and open heart call, as needed.
- Participate in unit initiatives and ongoing professional development through clinical ladders.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure in the state of Delaware or relevant state.
- Minimum of 3 years of Operating Room experience.
- Cardiac open-heart surgery experience is required.
- BSN preferred; commitment to obtaining BSN within three years with relevant experience considered.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior CVOR or specialized cardiac surgical nursing experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
