Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to laboring patients in a maternal infant unit.
- Monitor fetal heart tones and maternal vital signs using GE fetal monitors and EMR systems.
- Assist with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and antepartum care.
- Support newborns and postpartum patients, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Maintain required certifications and adhere to dress code and safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of labor and delivery nursing experience.
- Valid BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certifications.
- Ability to work night shifts, with flexibility for on-call and weekend duties.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2+ years of experience in high-volume LDRP units.
- Experience with EMR systems such as Meditech and CPN.
- Prior experience performing procedures related to labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
