Key Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients, aiming to enhance their functional performance.
• Provide therapy to improve or maintain patients’ strength, range of motion, coordination, and daily living skills, including training with adaptive equipment.
• Collaborate with external agencies such as schools, nursing homes, and hospitals to optimize patient care and environmental adaptations.
• Administer assessments for neurological, orthopedic, cardiac, and balance conditions, and implement appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• Educate patients and their families on energy conservation, safety, and transfer techniques to support independence and safety.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress reports.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in occupational therapy.
• Current valid WA state Occupational Therapist license (or in the process of obtaining).
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret clinical and professional documentation.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• One year of experience in occupational therapy preferred but new graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• Experience working with neurological, orthopedic, or balance disorder patients is a plus.
• Knowledge of adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
