• Full-time, dayshift, 9-hour shifts, 4 days per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in interventional radiology and special procedures departments.
• Assist with procedures including GI bleed management, strokes, biopsies, central lines, and drains.
• Interpret EKGs and titrate drips as required, using hospital EMR software.
• Collaborate with charge RNs and other team members to ensure patient safety and care quality.
• Adhere to unit protocols, including ratios and dress code, and participate in orientation and shift coverage.
• Respond to call shifts as scheduled, including weekends and holidays, within specified response times.

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois registered nurse license or process initiation confirmed.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Experience with EKG interpretation and drip titration.
• Knowledge of EPIC EMR system and Phillips monitors.
• Ability to work in high-acuity environments, such as ER, ICU, or procedural units.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous IR or special procedures nursing experience.
• Familiarity with procedural patient care and post-procedure recovery.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and patient conditions simultaneously.
