• Full-time, 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services to adult patients in a level 1 trauma and ICU setting.
• Manage and assess patient respiratory needs, including ventilator management and airway care.
• Collaborate with medical teams to develop and execute treatment plans for critically ill patients.
• Document patient care accurately within electronic medical records, including Epic.
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and ensure patient safety.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years adult ICU and trauma experience in a hospital setting.
• Recent hospital experience within the last year.
• Experience working in a hospital with 300+ beds, preferably a Level 1 trauma facility.
• Epic Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience.
• Must hold a valid AR Respiratory Therapist license two weeks prior to start date.
• COVID vaccination not required upon submission.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification highly preferred.
• Strong CRT consideration for candidates with extensive trauma and ICU experience.
• Tertiary hospital experience in a Level 1 trauma center.

Additional Notes

• Candidates must reside 100 miles or more from the facility; locals are not considered.
• Current state employees are ineligible to apply.
• The manager is seeking candidates with prominent trauma and ICU backgrounds, emphasizing overall experience and facility level.
