Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
Location: Smyrna, TN
Schedule / Job Type: Travel, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 nights per week, 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to laboring patients in a busy hospital setting
• Support patient choice and promote vaginal birth opportunities aligned with patient preferences
• Assist with procedures such as circulating in OR, IUPC, FSE, MgSO? administration, postpartum hemorrhage management, nitrous oxide use, and fetal monitoring
• Collaborate with a dedicated team including unit secretaries, scrub techs, CRNA, midwives, and OB on-call staff
• Ensure documentation compliance using CPN and Meditech systems
• Maintain patient experience levels above 75%, focusing on personalized care and safety

Required Qualifications:

• Valid RN license
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications
• Experience with fetal monitoring and labor support techniques
• Ability to support patient-centered care and promote positive birth experiences

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Knowledge of Spinning Babies techniques or STABLE method
• Experience with high-risk deliveries and emergency procedures
• Comfortable circulating in OR and managing postpartum care in a Level 2 NICU environment
