Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, respond to changes, and implement care plans.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly.
- Float to lesser units as needed, primarily during scheduled shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license.
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent PCU RN experience.
- Ability to work scheduled nights, including every other weekend.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with high acuity drips, arterial lines, and bipap-airvo equipment.
- Prior experience working in a rapid response or high-acuity environment.
