Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU/Step-Down) setting during night shift hours
• Monitor and manage patients requiring intermediate-level acuity care, including those on high-acuity drips
• Utilize and manage arterial lines and respiratory support equipment such as BiPAP/Airvo as needed
• Float to a lesser acuity unit as required, serving as first to float
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Adhere to facility policies including nicotine-free workplace standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of PCU RN experience
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Must be willing to work every other weekend and major holidays

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with high-acuity drip management
• Arterial line experience
• BiPAP and Airvo experience
