• Therapist - Speech Language Pathologist
Location
• Houston, TX
Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, 13-week travel assignment, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
• Evaluate speech, language, and swallowing abilities of patients with impairments from various causes, including prematurity, injury, or disease
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on evidence-based practices, tailored to patient's age and development
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess and execute intervention programs
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Perform specialized procedures such as Modified Barium Swallow Studies (preferred)
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and unit guidelines
Required Qualifications
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
• Valid Texas State License in Speech-Language Pathology
• Neonatal experience is mandatory
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Pediatric experience
• Adult patient experience
• Experience with Modified Barium Swallow Studies
