Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill patients within the ICU.
• Monitor patient vital signs and responses, and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Support post-operative recovery for general surgery, pediatric, and OB patients as needed.
• Assist in the care of patients across multiple units including ED, Med/Surg, and Peds during float shifts.
• Maintain detailed patient documentation in accordance with hospital policies and standards.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of ICU experience.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher.
• Valid and unrestricted RN license to practice in the United States or territories.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association, or able to complete within 6 months of hire.
• Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) certification within 6 months of hire.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification within 6 months of hire.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience working in a critical care environment with diverse patient populations.
• Strong ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with ICU equipment and technology.
