Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat individuals of all ages with mobility or health-related issues that impact daily functioning.
• Develop personalized treatment plans to promote movement, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability.
• Work across various settings, including hospitals, outpatient clinics, home health, schools, sports facilities, work environments, and nursing homes.
• Collaborate with patients to develop fitness and wellness programs for healthier lifestyles.
• Ensure compliance with licensure and certification requirements, including maintaining current state license and BLS certification.
• Provide care primarily in the Acute Rehab Unit (ARU), with potential to float to inpatient units as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Valid state-issued Physical Therapist license (must be attached to resume)
• BLS certification (must be attached to submission packet, from the American Heart Association)
• At least 1 year of recent hospital-based PT experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a hospital setting, ideally with float staffing experience
• Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
• Ability to work 4 days per week, with shifts scheduled Wednesday through Saturday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
