Key Responsibilities
• Provide inpatient rehabilitation nursing care to a diverse patient population at a Level 3S facility within a hospital setting.
• Perform patient transfers, administer medications, and perform procedures such as bladder scans and dressing changes.
• Document patient assessments and rehab scoring, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping in the EMR system.
• Ensure patient safety through hourly rounding, bed alarm activation, and bedside reports.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver coordinated, high-quality patient care during night shifts.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, including shift handoffs and adherence to bedside reporting protocols.

Required Qualifications
• Current RN licensure in the state of Texas.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
• Proficiency in Meditech EMR system.
• Ability to perform patient transfers and operate transfer equipment (hoyer lifts, sliding boards, etc.).

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience in inpatient rehab settings.
• Knowledge of rehab scoring documentation.
• Experience with multiple units such as Med-Surg, Telemetry, Renal, Urology, and Orthopedics.
