Full-time, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to neonates in a Level III NICU setting.
• Care for high-acuity patients including micro preemies, growth and feeder patients, and those on respiratory support or postoperative.
• Monitor and document patient status accurately using Epic charting system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in every-other weekend shifts and potentially float to the Elmhurst campus during low census periods.

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum of 2 years’ NICU experience, preferably in Level III neonatal intensive care.
• Certification in CPR and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program).
• Experience caring for 44-week gestation micro preemies and high-acuity neonates.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a Level III NICU with high acuity patients.
• Familiarity with respiratory support and surgical care in neonatal patients.
• Ability to adapt to floating assignments as needed.
