Schedule / Job Type

• rotating shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in the Operating Room setting, supporting surgical teams during procedures
• Maintain a high standard of patient safety and comfort throughout surgical operations
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR staff to facilitate efficient surgeries
• Participate in weekend and weekday call duties, including on-call coverage during nights and weekends (4x10-hour shifts on a rotating basis)
• Adhere to regional performance expectations and hospital policies to ensure quality care and compliance

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nebraska
• Previous OR experience, specifically in Orthopedic and Neuro surgeries (Level 1 or 2 experience preferred)
• Ability to handle on-call responsibilities including nights and weekends
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of surgical procedures and patient care protocols

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in high-acuity surgical environments
• Experience working with orthopedic and neurological surgical teams
• Ability to adapt to a regional hospital setting with high-performance expectations
