Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care within medical surgical units, assessing and monitoring patient conditions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and in accordance with established protocols.
• Demonstrate clinical judgment by recognizing and reporting changes in patient status.
• Maintain complete and accurate medical records in compliance with hospital policies.
• Participate in ongoing education and professional development activities.

Required Qualifications

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse license
• Valid CPR/BLS certification
• ACLS certification required, with additional certifications such as PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, as specified by unit needs

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in medical-surgical or acute care units
• Knowledge of emergency protocols and trauma care standards
• Ability to float to different units as needed within scope of practice
