• Therapist - Respiratory Therapist
Location
• Asheville, NC
Schedule / Job Type
• Travel, Nights shifts, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
• Provide respiratory therapy care to neonatal and pediatric patients in a Level 3 NICU and Pediatric units
• Manage and operate neonatal and pediatric ventilators and related equipment
• Perform airway management procedures including intubation and extubation
• Conduct blood gas collection and analysis (capillary and arterial)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care during high-risk deliveries and respiratory events
• Ensure compliance with unit policies and safety protocols
Required Qualifications
• NC Respiratory License in hand prior to start
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
• BLS, PALS, NRP certifications
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with neonatal and pediatric ventilators such as Draeger Infant/Peds vents, HFOV, Vapotherm, and transport vents
• NPS and ACLS certifications are a plus
• Prior experience in NICU/Pediatric respiratory care
