Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the Medicare & Medicaid Services (MDS) assessments for residents.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations related to MDS documentation and facility audits.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and review care plans.
- Document and update resident records accurately and timely.
- Participate in quality assurance activities to enhance patient care standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of South Dakota.
- Experience with MDS coordination or long-term care facility operations.
- Knowledge of federal and state healthcare regulations related to Medicaid and Medicare.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in MDS documentation and compliance.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
