Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 3 nights per week (12-hour night shifts: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide acute nursing care to emergency room patients in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Effectively recognize and respond to various cardiac rhythms and emergency situations
• Complete assessments, administer treatments, and monitor patient conditions
• Document patient information accurately and collaborate with healthcare team members
• Comply with all hospital policies, safety standards, and certification requirements

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of recent, permanent ER experience prior to assignment
• Active Ohio or Compact state nursing license in hand at the time of submission
• Must have current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (TNCC preferred)
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation
• Ability to work at least every other holiday and meet travel compliance standards

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-acuity emergency room setting
• Familiarity with hospital electronic documentation systems
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
