Key Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient physical therapy services in a specialty outpatient setting.
• Conduct evaluations and treatments tailored to orthopedic and neurological patients.
• Schedule approximately 14 evaluations per week, with remaining patient encounters dedicated to treatment.
• Document patient progress and therapy notes using Epic electronic health record system.
• Participate in chart reviews twice daily for 8-hour shifts or three times for 10-hour shifts.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes PTs, PTAs, OTs, and SLPs.

Required Qualifications

• Valid state license as a Physical Therapist in Missouri (or applicable compact license).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in outpatient therapy preferred; first-timers accepted.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Epic training and documentation.
• Capable of floating within scope to meet facility needs.
• Willing to work day shifts, Monday through Friday.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with outpatient orthopedics and neuro patients.
• Familiarity with Epic or similar electronic health record systems.
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary outpatient setting.
• Knowledge of therapy protocols for pelvic health, lymphedema, vestibular, and chronic pain therapies.

Additional Information

• This role involves working in a free-standing outpatient facility with a business casual environment.
• The typical patient schedule includes 60-minute evaluations, with treat durations primarily 30 minutes, some 45 or 60 minutes.
• Therapists will receive Epic training during orientation, which includes hospital and department onboarding.
• Candidates must have a valid license in hand at the time of submission; Missouri license or compact license required.
• Candidates outside a 75-mile radius from the facility are eligible to apply; local travelers are not accepted unless specified.
• RTO (Reasonable Time Off) requests allowed, with a maximum of 7 days per 13-week contract.
• Basic compliance requirements include valid SSN, DOB, and adherence to travel and background policies.
