Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging exams primarily for inpatients, with some outpatient procedures.
• Conduct imaging exams for emergency and trauma patients in urgent situations.
• Utilize fluoroscopy with C-Arm equipment during surgical or sterile environment procedures.
• Perform portable imaging exams both bedside and within imaging departments.
• Collect patient history, answer patient questions, and ensure accurate imaging following provider instructions.
• Operate imaging equipment proficiently while understanding anatomy, physiology, and proper imaging techniques, including special populations.
• Collaborate with providers to interpret imaging results and determine if additional images are necessary.

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification required.
• Valid licenses and registrations such as IEMA and BLS.
• Ability to perform patient intake, operate imaging equipment, and follow detailed instructions.
• Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology relevant to imaging.
• Comfort working with diverse patient populations, including children and the elderly.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Recent graduates considered; some experience in diagnostic imaging preferred.
• Familiarity with computerized charting systems like EPIC and PACS.
• Experience with Carestream, GE, Philips imaging equipment, and OEC surgical imaging tools.

Note: This position involves working alongside team members; it does not require being on call. Weekend and holiday shifts are covered on a rotating basis.
