Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Location: Vero Beach, FL

Schedule / Job Type: Nights, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients in a busy ER environment
• Administer treatments, medications, and interventions as per physician orders
• Record and update patient information in the electronic health record system
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards
• Float within scope across three hospital locations within a 20-mile radius

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience
• Valid nursing license suitable for practice in Florida
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications (must be current at time of submission)
• NIHSS certification (must be obtained prior to start)
• Epic experience at a level 3 or 4

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience working with Epic EMR system
• Prior full-time ER or acute care experience
• Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations
• Commitment to patient safety and quality standards

• Must be willing to float to multiple hospital locations within scope
• Mandatory modules via SilkRoad completed pre-start and annually
• First-time travelers accepted
• Shift begins at 6:45 pm and ends at 7:15 am
