Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele

• Greensboro, NC

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Nights, 3x12-hour shifts per week

Key Responsibilities
• Provide patient care in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry setting, including interpreting laboratory results, medication reconciliation, and patient assessments.
• Perform dressing changes and set up aseptic/sterile procedures.
• Conduct phlebotomy, specimen labeling, and specimen collection (throat, urine culture).
• Utilize EPIC electronic health record system for documentation and patient care activities.
• Assist with telephone triage, pharmacy calls, and patient refill requests.
• Float to other Cone Health campuses as needed, maintaining flexibility and professionalism.

Required Qualifications
• Licensed Registered Nurse in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year acute care experience; rehab experience preferred.
• BLS certification.
• EPIC electronic medical record experience.
• Ability to interpret laboratory results, perform dressing changes, draw blood, and manage patient assessments.
• Pass/Fail EKG exam required (candidates have 2 attempts).
• Current Driver’s License (for local radius verification).
• Clear background check; no open cases.
• Compliance with facility’s education verification process.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience in inpatient rehab and neurological care (stroke, TBI, spinal cord injury).
• Knowledge of medication reconciliation and vital signs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, specialized rehab environment.
