Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shifts (3x12 hours per week, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 12-hour nights

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit, supporting patients with neurological, post-op, and rehabilitation needs.
• Conduct assessments, interpret laboratory results, and perform medication reconciliation.
• Perform dressing changes using aseptic techniques and set up sterile procedure trays.
• Collect specimens such as blood, urine, throat cultures, and perform phlebotomy.
• Manage telephone triage, pharmacy calls, and patient refill requests.
• Support patient care during inpatient rehab activities, including stroke, aneurysm, TBI, ABI, spinal cord injury, and other neurological diagnoses.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year of acute care rehab experience.
• BLS certification.
• EPIC electronic medical record experience.
• Ability to interpret laboratory results and perform patient assessments.
• Experience with dressing changes, specimen collection, and phlebotomy.
• Must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance.
• Successful background check with no open cases.
• Education verification completed through a third-party provider.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Acute care rehabilitation experience.
• Experience with neurological or specialized inpatient rehab patient populations.
• Comfort with float assignments across multiple hospital campuses.
