Schedule / Job Type
• Travel, Night shifts, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the labor and delivery unit during night shifts.
• Monitor and assess maternal and fetal health, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Assist with childbirth procedures and postpartum care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient progress accurately and thoroughly.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to hospital protocols.
Required Qualifications
• Valid RN license for North Carolina or appropriate state.
• Minimum of 1 year of labor and delivery nursing experience.
• Ability to work night shifts and 12.5-hour shifts.
• Strong assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Previous experience in a travel or float pool setting.
• Familiarity with ICU or high-acuity obstetric care.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
