Travel, 24-week assignment, full-time shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care for patients recovering from surgery in the PACU.
• Monitor vital signs, manage ventilator settings, and assess patient readiness for transfer.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and primary caregivers to ensure safe patient recovery.
• Administer medications and interventions as prescribed, adhering to hospital protocols.
• Document patient care activities accurately using the Cerner system.
• Assist with lab draws, catheterizations, and patient transport as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license with minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification.
• Experience in trauma, pediatrics, and ventilator monitoring preferred.
• Strong knowledge of NIH Stroke Scale.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, with availability for scheduled call shifts.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Pediatric care experience.
• Trauma unit exposure.
• Familiarity with peri-anesthesia units, including Endoscopy, Pre-Op, or Phase II recovery.
