Registered Nurse - Oncology

Location: Asheville, NC

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Travel, Days shifts, 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care to oncology patients in a 24-bed unit.
• Collaborate with a team of RNs, CNAs, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Perform procedures such as pelvic exams, echo, and thoracentesis as needed.
• Document patient information accurately using the Cerner EMR system.
• Adhere to hospital policies, unit guidelines, and dress code standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid RN license.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a hospital or similar setting.
• Ability to work a 12.5-hour day shift.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Chemo certification (preferred; candidates with this will be prioritized).
• Experience with oncology procedures and patient care.
• Strong team player with a willingness to learn.
