• Full-time, Day shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care for adult and geriatric patients with various solid tumor cancers, from diagnosis through treatment and end-of-life care
• Monitor and interpret telemetry while maintaining patient safety and infection control protocols
• Administer chemotherapy and other antineoplastic treatments in accordance with protocols
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Assist with patient transition and provide education on treatment plans and symptom management
• Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license (compact or state-specific)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in a medical-surgical or oncology setting
• BLS certification
• Experience interpreting telemetry monitoring

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Oncology nursing certification (e.g., ONS Chemo)
• Previous travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Comfortable floating to other MedSurg Oncology units as needed

Additional Details

• Shift hours: 12-hour day shifts only

• Facility cares for all solid tumor cancers, emphasizing infection prevention and fall prevention protocols
• Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting process immediately upon onboarding to comply with travel and credentialing requirements
• Must provide two professional references, including at least one leadership reference

Applicants should be prepared for strict adherence to Ohio fingerprinting deadlines and must be responsive throughout credentialing. Local candidates are accepted, and RTO requests should be built into the contract.
