Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services to patients in a hospital setting.
• Administer treatments such as oxygen therapy, ventilator management, and aerosol therapies.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments accordingly.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
• Complete documentation and maintain compliance with facility policies.

Required Qualifications

• Active Ohio Respiratory Therapist license.
• NBRC RRT certification (active and in hand at time of submission).
• BLS certification (active and in hand).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RRT.
• Must have at least 2 manager, supervisor, or director references from within the past 12 months.
• Must be nicotine-free and pass a negative 10-panel drug screen including cotinine, updated annually.
• Background checks must be clear; no license hits accepted.
• Completion of BCI/FBI fingerprinting within 48 hours of signing contract.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience at Cleveland Clinic or similar hospital environment.
• Ability to float and work at various CCF facilities as needed.
• Flexibility to work 8-12 week assignments with potential extension.

Shift Details

• Nights, 3 days per week, 12 hours per shift (19:00 – 07:30).
• Schedule includes weekends as needed; some floating across facilities.
• No return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals within one year for permanent or per diem candidates.

• All certifications must be active; pending certifications are not accepted.
• Locals welcome at the same rate; all work history, including Cleveland Clinic positions, must be detailed in profile.
• All compliance documents, including modules and background checks, must be completed as specified.
