Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and compassionate care to ICU patients, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Perform advanced procedures such as insertion of central lines, arterial lines, lumbar punctures, chest tubes, and EVD insertions.
• Document patient status and care interventions accurately using Meditech system.
• Adhere to hospital policies and protocols, including safety guidelines and dress code.
• Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality ICU care.
• Maintain required certifications and stay current with clinical best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• ICU experience (minimum 2 years).
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Ability to perform complex procedures as listed.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with ventilators, EVDs, CRRT, SLED, EV 1000.
• Prior experience in high-acuity ICU settings.
• Strong documentation skills and ability to float to med/surg units when needed.

Note: This assignment is for a travel ICU nurse working night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM at a Nashville hospital. Schedule includes a minimum of 4 weekend shifts per 4-week cycle, with self-scheduling flexibility. The facility features state-of-the-art equipment and a collaborative clinical environment.
