- IR / Special Procedures Radiologic Technologist
Location
- Asheville, NC
Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, full-time, days shift, 10-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Perform interventional radiology procedures following physician orders and safety protocols
- Operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images during procedures
- Collaborate with medical team to ensure patient safety and optimal procedure outcomes
- Follow facility orientation and compliance guidelines during shift
- Accurately document procedures and necessary patient information
Required Qualifications
- Active Radiologic Technologist license or certification
- Minimum 2 years of radiology experience, specifically in interventional procedures
- Experience with interventional radiology equipment and protocols
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety standards
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel radiology experience
- Familiarity with hospital operational systems such as Kronos
- Knowledge of radiation safety and contrast media administration
