• Full-time, nights shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 13-week travel assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide pulmonary care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients under physician supervision.
• Perform patient assessments and develop respiratory care plans.
• Execute various technical procedures including airway management, ventilator setup, and aerosolized drug delivery.
• Manage airway support devices such as BiPAP and CPAP, and monitor oxygen therapy.
• Conduct diagnostic tests including blood gas analysis, chest film interpretation, and EKG analysis.
• Participate in emergency response and hospital surveys, ensuring accurate documentation and proper equipment maintenance.
• Support advanced practice functions like pulmonary function testing, bronchoscopies, hemodynamic monitoring, and sleep studies as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RRT or RCP license in the state of New Mexico.
• Current BLS certification through AHA.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from NBRC.
• 1-3 years of relevant clinical experience preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in critical care or neonatal/pediatric respiratory therapy.
• Knowledge of advanced respiratory procedures and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and lead shift activities.
