Key Responsibilities

  • Perform complex imaging and operational tasks in the cardiac catheterization laboratory, including fluoro imaging, digital image acquisition, and hemodynamic measurements.
  • Oversee daily departmental operations, equipment functionality, and inventory management.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols, sterile techniques, and organizational policies.
  • Train and mentor technicians and technologists, ensuring team development and compliance with competency standards.
  • Collaborate with physicians and team members to promote efficient and safe patient care during cardiac procedures.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, charge capture, and equipment usage.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technology program or hold an associate’s degree in a healthcare-related field.
  • 5 years of experience in Diagnostic, Interventional Radiology, or Cath/EP Lab.
  • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification via AHA.
  • Valid Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification via AHA.
  • Valid Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification via AHA.
  • Certification from one of the following: RCIS, RCES, RCS, Radiography (R), CI, CV, VI, RDMS (ABD or OB/GYN), RDCS (Adult Echocardiography), or RVT.
  • State licensure preferred based on modality (e.g., LRT in Louisiana).

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Experience managing departmental inventory and ensuring charge accuracy.
  • Knowledge of cardiac imaging and interventional procedures.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
  • Duration: 13-week travel assignment with potential temp-to-perm opportunity
  • Worksite: Alexandria, LA
  • Projected Start Date: April 13, 2026
  • Rate: $120/hour
  • Reports To: Shannon Saldana
