• Full-time, contract, 13-week assignment
• Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide critical care nursing to ICU patients, including those on cardiac monitors, ventilators, and hemodynamic support.
• Administer titratable IV drips, perform hemodynamic assessments, and manage respiratory patients such as those on ventilators, Bipap, trachs, or Airvo.
• Assist with procedures such as central line and chest tube insertions, bronchoscopies, tracheostomies, lumbar punctures, and intubations.
• Monitor patient status diligently, ensuring safety and compliance with unit policies.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adherence to infection control standards.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of Texas.
• Experience with cardiac monitoring, rhythms, and titratable drips.
• Strong understanding of hemodynamics and critical care procedures.
• Experience caring for respiratory patients, including ventilator management.
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with CRRT (Continuous renal replacement therapy) and SLED (Sustained low-efficiency dialysis).
• Previous ICU or critical care nursing experience of at least 1 year.
• Knowledge of advanced medical equipment such as GE bedside monitors, Alaris IV pumps, and Prismax CRRT machines.
