Key Responsibilities

• Scrub for cardiovascular and vascular procedures including CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, valve replacements, etc.
• Assist with cardiothoracic surgery cases in a Level I Trauma facility
• Maintain aseptic technique and ensure proper instrument reprocessing for CVOR cases
• Document procedures and equipment usage accurately in charting systems
• Provide support as part of the surgical team during cardiovascular operations
• Adhere to safety protocols including crash cart readiness and equipment documentation

Required Qualifications

• Scrub experience in cardiovascular and vascular procedures
• 5+ years of total CST experience
• 2+ years in cardiac & vascular specialties
• 1+ year CVOR experience
• 1+ year in a Level I Trauma facility
• Experience with cardiovascular/thoracic instrument reprocessing
• BLS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with core cardiovascular procedures such as CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, valvular surgeries
• Skilled in aseptic techniques and OR equipment documentation
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system
